What is QR Codes?
Most likely, you’ve seen a square barcode on the back of a business card or affixed to a light post covered in graffiti.
The square-shaped, pixelated code is known as a QR code. They facilitate the download of applications, provide contactless menu access at restaurants, and are advertised on billboards, websites, and social media platforms.
The QR code was invented in the mid-1990s, but it wasn’t until the advent of cellphones that it really took off. In the midst of a pandemic, mobile devices made it possible to use the digital mark in more dynamic and varied ways, which made it a simple and frictionless way to connect to and exchange information.

What is a QR code?
The QR code was first developed in 1994 by Masahiro Hara, the head engineer of Denso Wave, a Japanese business that is a subsidiary of Toyota. It was originally intended to track cars and parts as they were manufactured.
QR codes, short for Bee QR Code, are a kind of barcode that can be read by digital devices such as smartphones. Unlike conventional barcodes, which can only be read from top to bottom, they contain information as a series of pixels in a square grid that can be read from both right to left and top to bottom.
About 7,000 digits, or about 4,000 characters, including punctuation and special characters, can be stored in a QR code. Additionally, it may encrypt data, including internet addresses and phone numbers. Each QR code has a different layout based on the data it contains, which modifies the layout of its black modules.
